Protest in Frisco, Texas against Tirupathi Laddu adulteration & Save Sanathana dharma

Dallas, Texas (28th Sept, 2024):  The Vishwa Hindu Parishad of America Dallas Chapter, in collaboration with the Global Hindu Heritage Foundation, Jana Sena cadre, and various DFW mandirs and Sanatan organizations, issued a clarion call to raise awareness about the adulteration of the sacred Tirumala Tirupati Laddu. This initiative aimed to secure and safeguard temples from political interference and to uphold the integrity of Hindu traditions.

Joining the Movement

In a significant gathering, Hindu devotees participated in an hour-long meditation for peace, forgiveness, and reflection on the auspicious day of Indira Ekadashi. Together, they stood in solidarity with AP Dy.CM Shri Pawan Kalyan garu in his quest for justice and the protection of Hindu traditions.

Key Issues Addressed

The movement highlighted several critical demands to tackle concerns regarding the quality of the Laddu prasadam and the management of temples:

  1. Immediate Investigation. 

    Demanded stringent action on perpetrators and their aide  involved in adulteration of Tirupathi Laddu  under adulteration  act section 272,273 and section 9 and sheer violation of Hindu Religious place of workship Bill 214/2022 prohibited food disturbing purity and satvikta in worship .

    According to the Indian Penal Code (IPC), Section 295A, it is a criminal offense to deliberately insult the religious beliefs or feelings of any Indian citizen or their community. Transfer case to CBI expedite and see to that criminals are punished through fast track  courts.

  2. Stringent Measures: Strict protocols were proposed to prevent future desecration of sacred offerings.
  3. Local Ghee Extraction: The establishment of a facility to extract ghee from Tirumala Goshala was recommended to eliminate reliance on external sources.
  4. Increased Transparency: The need for transparent management practices within Hindu temples and institutions was emphasized.
  5. National Protection Board: A call was made to form a Sanatana Dharma Parirakshana Board at the national level to safeguard Hindu traditions.
  6. Accountability for Adulteration: Stern actions were demanded against those responsible for laddu adulteration to prevent recurrence.
  7. Employment Policies: A proposal was made to ensure that only Hindus were employed within temple management to maintain religious integrity.
  8. Endowment Act Review: The abrogation of the Endowment Act of 1863 was suggested to enhance temple autonomy.
  9. Asset Transparency: Ensuring accountability and transparency regarding temple assets was a key concern.
  10. Political Neutrality: The prohibition of political party involvement in temple administration was urged to avoid.

Standing Together

The community recognized the imperative to unite in order to protect their heritage and uphold the sanctity of their traditions. Participants understood that their voices mattered in this noble cause to ensure that sacred offerings remained pure and that temples were free from political machinations. Together, they aimed to safeguard their future and uphold the values that define their faith.

The key people who involved in this are GHHF President Dr. Prakash Rao Velagapudi, VHPA Dallas President  Shri Gaur ji, General Secretary  Satish Chandra Koosam, Arpan Prakash Joint Secretary ,PR coordinator Rahul Dharankar,Commander  Gavi Kumar Director of Veteran affairs  ,Sewa International Sachin Sugandhi ji and from Jana Sena Party Kishore Anichetty, Sri Ram Mathi, also Ram Gullapalli from TDP, Hemanth Kale from HBS & Sashi Kejriwal ji, Ramakrishna GVS Sanatan Dharmic.
