Picnic day cum potluck event grand celebration by Plano Aptulu

Residents living near Plano and McKinney gathered joyfully for a picnic and potluck event. Approximately 100 families joined in the festivities, interacting with warmth and enjoying the day together as if celebrating a festival.

Many families, accompanied by children, participated in games and sports competitions organized by Kalyani Patthi and Laxman Pragadreddy. Activities included classic games like the Lemon Spoon Race, Sack Race for kids and Three-Legged Race for men.

Over 50+ delicious dishes, including vegetarian, non-vegetarian, desserts, fruits, and beverages were served, receiving praise for their exquisite taste. Families who contributed food were especially appreciated.

Despite the summer heat, the gathering was a success, with families and their relatives from India also joining in and having a wonderful time. Nataraju Illuri (APTA ex-president) delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of unity among Aptulu and commended the community for organizing this inaugural summer picnic in Plano.

Spice Rack restaurent owner Rajesh Velnati also contributed food items to the event , kudos to his tremendous support for Apta events as always.

Volunteers such as Nageswar Chandana, Ratnakar Jonnakuti, Gayathri Vutukuru, Sivaiah Pallaprolu, Srinivas Thota, and others contributed significantly to the event's success. 

Coordination by Sudhakar Ande (Plano City Coordinator), Priya Annabatthuni (RVP) and Sunil Thota (Joint Treasurer) from Apta management ensured a grand event.

Special thanks were extended to all volunteers and organizers for their efforts.
