Business Analyst with DAM
Position: Business Analyst with DAM
Location: Austin, TX- Day 1 onsite ( 3 days a week hybrid)
Rate – $60/hr on c2c

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in Digital Asset Management (DAM) and specific experience working within major studios (Warner Bros., Sony, Paramount). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the software side of DAM systems and will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business s needs and technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering & Analysis:
• Engage with stakeholders to gather detailed business requirements.
• Conduct thorough analysis of business needs and translate them into technical specifications.
• Identify gaps in current systems and recommend enhancements or new solutions.
Digital Asset Management (DAM):
• Lead and support DAM projects, ensuring effective asset organization, storage, retrieval, and distribution.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to design, implement, and optimize DAM solutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for DAM.
Studio Collaboration:
• Work closely with studio clients (Warner Bros., Sony, Paramount) to understand their specific DAM needs and workflows.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings with studio stakeholders to define project scopes and objectives.
• Customize and tailor DAM solutions to meet the unique requirements of each studio.
Software Implementation & Integration:
• Oversee the implementation of DAM software solutions
• Coordinate with software vendors and internal IT teams for successful system integrations.
• Ensure seamless integration of DAM systems with existing studio infrastructure and workflows.
Process Improvement:
• Analyze and document current business processes and workflows.
• Identify areas for process improvement and increased efficiency.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize DAM processes.
Training & Support:
• Provide training to end-users and stakeholders on new systems and processes.
• Develop training materials and documentation.
• Offer ongoing support and troubleshoot issues related to DAM systems.
Qualifications:
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on DAM.
• Proven experience working with major studios such as Warner Bros., Sony, and Paramount.
• Strong background in software implementation and integration projects.
Skills:
• In-depth knowledge of DAM systems and software solutions.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.
• Familiarity with studio production and post-production workflows
